Thou shalt never badmouth a competitor

Tom Peters on why he wants his competitors to thrive.

My take on this is that I don't want to be someone who bad mouths other people for my own self-interest. And that's enough.

I like your take better.

It's a bit facile how business gurus will try to explain why doing the right thing is justified because it will turn out to be to your benefit.

Sometimes it will and sometimes it won't.

I'd rather know that someone is just plain not into being sneaky or bad-mouthing others for their own gain.
