We use a short, easily remembered name like Agile to communicate how we believe software development should be but then we get into wierd discussions about "What is Agile?" and "Is what I'm doing Agile?" and of course "Why can't we just be Agile about this?"
Therefore
I propose no longer using the term Agile and have people memorise a paragraph or two instead.
Example resulting scenario:
A: Where does testing fit in this new approach?
B: Oh, you know those paragraphs I asked you to memorise, it's in the third one...
If only...

Glad to see this finally made it up on your site. After hearing you talk about it last weekend, I thought for sure it was going to make an appearance by Monday morning!
Since this came up on the most recent blog entry again...
Great idea. Now can you give an example of a paragraph or two that could be substituted for "Agile"?
